The Stables
Cosy and comfortable dog-free cottageThe Stables is a traditional Cotswold stone building which has been completely renovated using traditional methods and materials, in keeping with its Grade II listing. The exposed oak lintels and naturally contoured stone walls are complemented by the contemporary furnishings and decoration which aim to provide every modern comfort. The cottage is suitable for non-crawling babies, and baby equipment is available if you let us know.
Downstairs
Have a soak in our roll-top bathOn the ground floor you’ll find an open plan living / dining room and kitchen area as well as a downstairs bathroom. If you’re wanting to cook up a storm during your stay we have a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washer / dryer and practically every implement you could ever need! Prefer to step away from the dishes and really chill out? We have a beautiful roll-top bath and shower to help you unwind.
Upstairs
Relax with a glass of wineHead up the stairs and enjoy a great night’s sleep on our king-sized bed, made up with Egyptian cotton bedlinen and Hungarian goose down duvet (a microfiber duvet is available on request). The bedroom itself is also stunning; many of our guests comment on the beautiful and original eaves when staying in The Stables.
Outdoor Space
Enjoy some time to yourselvesA glazed door leads out to the Stables’ own patio area, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a candlelit evening meal under the stars. There are steps up to the large traditional walled garden of the main house (complete with centuries-old apple trees and a well) which guests are welcome to enjoy.
